Level 3 Diploma in Music Performance and Production

Assessment takes place through practical sessions, to demonstrate your professional abilities. A portfolio of work over the two years is also created which is moderated against unit criteria.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start your career in the music industry in several roles. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as at university, or a higher-level Apprenticeship.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities are supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who finds opportunities that are right for you. These give you key experiences ready for your future.

Throughout your studies, you will also take part in a variety on internal and external events, such as taking part in local music festivals in behind the scenes roles, and recording the college podcast.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.

At interview, you will be required to complete a music task to show us your practical and creative skills. This helps us to determine the right course for you.

A positive recommendation or reference from your school/tutor will be needed for you to be eligible for this course.
