Focusing on content creation, you will generate ideas of content for different platforms, including planning, creating and delivering that content and then evaluating your results.

You will acquire a broad spectrum of knowledge, hands-on skills, and essential abilities to succeed in the media broadcasting landscape.

This course not only equips you with essential skills for a rewarding career in content creation and production but also sets the stage for further studies in higher education.

With a combination of classroom and nine weeks workplace learning, designed in collaboration with employers, this course gives you the experience and skills you need to embark into the world of media where creativity knows no bounds.

In this T Level course, you’ll explore the vibrant world of media broadcast
and production. Key topics you’ll cover in the course include:

  • The individual in the creative industries
  • Cultural context and vocabulary
  • Audience and consumer needs
  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • Professional standards and conduct in the workplace
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion requirements
  • Research skills
  • Project methodology and administration
  • Continued professional development

You will also specialize in Content Creation and Production, which involves
an Occupational Specialism project. This will help you gain skills and
experience in:

  • Generating ideas for content development across different platforms.
  • Planning the production of required content for various platforms
    (including, but not limited to, moving/still image, audio, and written
    word).
  • Creating and delivering the required content for selected platforms or
    venues (including, but not limited to, moving/still image, audio, and written
    word), coordinating with others as appropriate.
  • Evaluating the extent to which the content and plan meet objectives,
    incorporating feedback as needed.
