Emma Steward

Having worked at Ashford College for over 20 years, Emma brings a wealth of experience across further education. Starting as an LSP supporting learners to achieve their goals, Emma went on to teach and mentor students, developing a strong passion for creating an inclusive, supportive and ambitious environment where every learner has the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.

Emma’s experience spans leadership, safeguarding, student support, inclusion, quality improvement and learner engagement. They are particularly committed to ensuring that the student voice is heard and that learners receive the right support, opportunities and guidance to progress into their chosen future.

Emma is delighted to contribute to the College Board and to bring her experience, commitment and passion for further education to supporting the continued success of Ashford College and the wider community.
