EKC Ashford College offers a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities for students to enhance their learning experience.
All our facilities are available for staff and students to access during their time with us.
Elwick Road Studios
Our recording studio has been designed and built to the highest specification in consultation with industry professionals to help our music students learn technological skills that are vital for the industry. The facilities include a fantastic-sounding live room, booth and control room, and leading-edge equipment, including a 40-channel TL Audio Valve Technology Console, Neumann U87 condenser microphones and a wide range of rack effects units.
Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon
The Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon is the high-street-quality commercial salon at EKC Ashford College. Run by staff and students, it offers a range of hair, beauty and nail treatments under the supervision of industry experts.
It is the perfect place to unwind and get that little bit of time just for yourself – without breaking the bank.
Appointments are available throughout term time, but at certain points in the academic year appointments may be unavailable.
Students can get a variety of treatments at reduced rates, as well as the chance to be models for our Hair and Beauty students during assessments.
E-Hub
Our E-Hub is the place to go for student support and quiet study spaces, with computer facilities, laptop loaning, a library and internet access all available.
Engineering Hub
Our Engineering Hub at EKC Ashford College is part of our new Phase 2 Development.
This space will allow students to learn cutting edge skills in Manufacturing, Engineering and a wide range of areas in the industry.
Refectory
Our Refectory is open during the day, serving food and hot and cold drinks including a selection of Coffees, Teas and Hot Chocolate.
There is a small dedicated seating area for our Refectory in the Atrium on the ground floor.
