Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon

The Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon is the high-street-quality commercial salon at EKC Ashford College. Run by staff and students, it offers a range of hair, beauty and nail treatments under the supervision of industry experts.

It is the perfect place to unwind and get that little bit of time just for yourself, without breaking the bank.

Appointments are available throughout term time, but at certain points in the academic year appointments may be unavailable.

Students can get a variety of treatments at reduced rates, as well as the chance to be models for our Hair and Beauty students during assessments.

Our Breakout Spaces

Refectory

Our Refectory is open during the day, serving food, and hot and cold drinks including a selection of Coffees, Teas and Hot Chocolate.

There is a small dedicated seating area for our Refectory in the Atrium on the ground floor.

E-Hub

Head over to the E-Hub to find our student support team. They’re on hand to assist with your studies, provide careers guidance and help teach you valuable study skills.

Alternatively, make use of this quiet study space, equipped with computer facilities, laptop loaning, and library resources to complete independent study.

Near the back of the refectory, you’ll find an outdoor area with picnic benches and relaxing seating areas that offer the perfect environment to unwind or study.
