We’ve invested in professional-standard Music Technology facilities, giving you the opportunity to develop the practical and technical skills needed for a career in the industry.
Our recording studio features a fantastic-sounding live room, booth and control room, along with leading-edge equipment including a 40-channel TL Audio Valve Technology Console, Neumann U87 condenser microphones and a wide range of rack effects units.
You’ll also have access to Mac computer suites, where you can develop your skills using industry-standard software, including Logic X.
You will have the opportunity to work on live briefs set by your lecturers and have the opportunity to gain professional work experience with our industry partners.
With regular gigs and open mic nights at venues like Coachworks and The Glass House, plus events such as the Create Music Village festival, local musicians, including our students, have plenty of opportunities to perform live.

Kiah has always had a deep passion for music, a love that started with listening to music with her dad when she was younger.
When chatting with Kiah before her award-winning performance she told us: “I have performed in the past, but this is my first time performing as part of a competition, I am, really excited.
“My tutors are rooting for me, and I hope to make the College proud. My main goal in the future is to release my own music.”
