Our Facilities
EKC Ashford College’s facilities are available to all students and staff and some members of the public.
Music Studios
Our recording studio has been designed and built to the highest specification in consultation with industry professionals.
The facilities include a fantastic-sounding live room, booth and control room, and leading-edge equipment, including a 40-channel TL Audio Valve Technology Console, Neumann U87 condenser microphones and a wide range of rack effects units.
Students on Music and Media courses get to use this facility during their studies, but other students are welcome for enrichment sessions and music practice.
Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon
Our Elwick Hair and Beauty Salon provides the perfect place to unwind and get that little bit of time just for yourself – without breaking the bank.
They are staffed by professionally trained students from our Hair and Beauty department, who are under the supervision of experienced industry professionals.
Treatments include cutting and styling, colouring, blow drying, setting, hair up styling, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, eye treatments, back, neck and shoulder massages.
Appointments are available throughout term time, but at certain points in the academic year some appointments may be unavailable. Visitors should report to the College’s reception, where they will be directed to the Spa.
