You can attend masterclasses in College, led by stylists and companies across the country, such as Revlon Professional, an industry giant in the world of haircare.

Our department has a dedicated Industry Liaison Officer who works to ensure you have access to relevant industry placements.
In the past, students have worked in local salons and spa’s, provided face paint for community events and worked with real clients in our onsite Salon.
You’ll take part in regular social action projects, as part of the College pledge to serve the local community.
These activities can include fundraisers such as sponsored waxes, providing free treatments, and creating items for local care home residents.
On all courses, you’re taught by staff who have years of experience in the Hair and Beauty industry.
They’re able to pass on their knowledge, connect you with professionals and help you discover which aspects you’re talented in.
“My favourite treatment is hot stone massage. It’s something I’ve learned this year and I really enjoy it. I also enjoy working with clients. We have client sessions every week, and I’ve carried out treatments such as electrical facials and massages.
“I also study nails in the evening alongside my main course, so by the time I finish college I’ll have a range of different skills and treatments that I can offer.”

“I’ve always had a passion for hairdressing and knew I wanted to do something within Hair and Beauty industry as a career.
“I enjoy colouring the most, and would love to specialise as a colourist in the future because I get to be really creative and fun with my work, and every result is different.”
