Level 2 Award in Nail Technology

All assessments are designed to showcase your practical skills and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps in the beauty industry.

You’ll mainly be assessed with practical observations in our commercial salon, alongside assignments for each unit and exams that check your understanding of professional techniques.

Throughout the course, you’ll also build a portfolio of your work, giving you a visual record of your progress and achievements that you can use for future opportunities

After completing this course, you’ll be ready to progress further within the beauty industry.

You could continue your studies onto more advanced nail qualifications or explore opportunities working in salons, spas, or as a self-employed nail technician.

If you already work in beauty, this course will enable you to take on advanced treatments and further develop your career in nail technology.

You can also use your new skills at home for your own nails.

No experience in nails or the industry is required for this course, but a good grasp of English and Maths is advised.

You may have to buy specialist kit from our supplier, which will be used during the course. Full costs can be discussed at interview.
