The Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing is designed
to build on your existing knowledge and develop the skills needed to progress
within the domestic plumbing and heating industry. You’ll learn how plumbing
systems work in real homes and buildings, gaining the confidence and technical
understanding required for future employment or an NVQ pathway.

plumber or heating engineer.

    understanding safe working practices and regulations essential to the plumbing

    learning standard techniques used in domestic plumbing



  • Cold and domestic hot water
    systems
     – understanding installation, maintenance
    and fault-finding



  • Drainage systems – exploring how
    waste and drainage systems operate



  • Central heating systems – gaining
    knowledge of heating components and system operation

    understanding sustainability and efficient water and energy use
