This is a one-year course that aims to prepare students for university-level academic study.
During the course, students will find out the answers to questions such as:
- Why do we forget things?
- How important are our childhood experiences?
- What causes mental illness?
- How does stress affect our health?
- Can criminals be reformed?
Social Science units to be covered include:
- Youth Justice
- Trends in Criminology
- Introduction into Social Work
- Theories of Learning and Safeguarding
