Professional and Service Industries Employability Skills

This course is your first step into college education. As part of this course, you’ll get extra help with your English and maths, making you more ready for work and allowing you to move on to a Level 2 course if you choose to.

No formal qualifications are required – just a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

The Employability course is assessed through a portfolio of evidence that is built during the academic year.

After this course, you can progress onto a Level 2
course in your chosen subject area. Our Careers
Support team are available to speak to you about your options.

There are no additional costs for the main curriculum. Opportunities may
arise throughout the academic year for students to attend additional enrichment
activities. These activities may incur a cost to the student and will be
discussed ahead of time.

You will have the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities, such as; PGL trips, charity football matches and community projects.
