Level 2 Certificate in Barbering (Evening)

All assessments are designed to showcase your practical skills and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps in barbering.

You’ll mainly be assessed with practical observations in our commercial salon that check your understanding of professional techniques.

Throughout the course, you’ll also build a portfolio of your work, giving you a visual record of your progress and achievements that you can use for future opportunities.

After completing this Level 2 course, you’ll be a fully qualified barber and ready to begin work.

You may also choose to progress onto further study, such as a Level 3 qualification, to continue developing your skills.

I’m coming up to 40, and I thought I want to re-qualify in something that works around me, but still lets me be part of the community and work in a customer-facing role. I still wanted that one-to-one interaction and that sense of giving something to people.
