Level 3 Diploma in Photography

On the course, you will grow your professional portfolio, which will aid assessment, and enhance prospects.

You will be set a final project at the end of each year, which will be externally moderated to determine your grade. Year 1’s project is based around a theme set by your tutor. Year 2’s project theme is chosen by you individually.

Progress to higher education at a range of universities and prestigious art schools across the country and the world.

You could also go onto a specialised apprenticeship or start your professional career in the art industry.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

At the end of each year, your work is displayed in the College’s end of year exhibition. We also organise community art shows which help grow your skills and enhance your learning outside of the classroom.

There are a variety of trips including museum visits, art exhibitions and artist talks, where you will meet other local artists and continue to grow your network.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find additional opportunities that are right for you.

At interview, you will be required to bring along a portfolio of your current Art and Design work to show us your practical and creative skills. This helps us to determine the right course for you.

A positive recommendation or reference from your school/tutor will be needed for you to be eligible for this course.
