While you have been having a well-deserved rest this half-term, your Estates team have been busy building furniture for the new and improved E-Hub.
Your E-Hub has been transformed into a paradise for studying. The new seating comes with freestanding desks that can be moved around easily and accessible plug sockets to ensure your devices stay fully charged.
The luscious greenery added to the space creates a calming atmosphere, making it perfect for collaborating with your friends or finishing off that important project.
You’ll now have an option between the open plan, circular tables, which are great for mind-mapping and thinking of new ideas as a group, or the rectangle tables next to the Careers desk. These tables offer more privacy with the tall screens. Here you can focus without the distractions College corridors or the mini football table – the screens will also act as great protection if a mini football was to fly over in your direction!
The observant among you may be wondering what has happened to all the books that once lived here. Do not worry, those important course specific books have been moved into subject areas and more generalised books can be found around the edge of the E-Hub on the remaining bookcases.
