On Thursday 17 August, students at EKC Ashford College collected their T Level results and BTEC Level 3 results. We caught up with some of our students to congratulate them on their success and find out about their next steps.
Tianna, Level 3 Photography
Tianna achieved a Distinction in Level 3 Photography and is excited to be going to London Metropolitan University in September to study Photography.
Speaking about her experience at the College, Tianna said: “After studying for a year at Sixth Form, I realised I wanted to pursue photography, so came to EKC Ashford College instead.
“Before I started my course, I thought I didn’t want to go to university, but College helped me find my path and now I’m looking forward to going to London Metropolitan University!
“I had a great time at College and I advise other students to make the most of their time and the facilities here!”
David, Level 3 Information Technology
David was delighted at the news that he had successfully completed his Level 3 Information Technology course and will be going to the University of Portsmouth to study Games Technology.
Kieran and Grant, Access to Higher Education Diploma: Healthcare Professions
Collecting their results together, Access to Higher Education students Kieran and Grant discovered that they had both successfully completed their Diploma in Healthcare and will be going to Canterbury Christ Church University in September. Kieran will be studying Criminology and Sociology, and Grant will be embarking on a degree in International Tourism Management.
Isobelle, Level 3 Photography
Isobelle studied Level 3 Photography and achieved a Merit, allowing her to progress onto a Visual Communication course at the University for the Creative Arts.
Jacob and Lilijana, Level 3 Information Technology
Jacob and Lilijana were pleased to learn that they had successfully passed their Level 3 Information Technology course. They are both looking forward to going to the University of Kent where they will study Computer Science.
Seth and John, Level 3 Information Technology
Seth and John successfully completed their Level 3 Information Technology course and are looking forward to studying Software Engineering at Canterbury Christ Church University in September.
Benjamin and Joshua, Level 3 Engineering
Level 3 Engineering students, Benjamin and Joshua, were happy to have both successfully passed their course. Joshua is progressing on to an Engineering degree at the University of Kent, while Benjamin is deciding his next steps after achieving his qualification.
