Peter Dale

Following a successful 20-year career in the advertising and media industry, I chose to transition into Further Education to combine my commercial experience with a passion for developing the next generation of business professionals.  

Before becoming a Business Lecturer at EKC Ashford College in 2025, I held senior leadership positions in the media industry, culminating in my role as Vice President of Commercial Development at Paramount UK. Throughout my career, I led high-performing teams, managed strategic commercial partnerships, and worked with senior stakeholders and clients across many of the UK’s leading brands and media organisations. My experience spans marketing, advertising, sales, commercial strategy, project management, leadership and high-level stakeholder management.  

As a Business Lecturer, I aim to bring real-world business experience into the classroom, helping students connect theory with practice through authentic examples and current industry insight. I am passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that build students’ confidence, develop their professional skills, and prepare them for successful careers in business.
