Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care

This pathway gives you time to develop skills in your chosen area and improve your English and maths to a grade 4 or equivalent. Reaching this level will help you have more opportunities in the future, like getting a skilled job, an apprenticeship, or moving on to a Level 3 course.

To join this programme, you’ll need the equivalent of 4 GCSEs at grades 2 to 1, including English and maths at Level 1 or higher.

Assessment is through completing a portfolio of work and work placements.

You can progress into a wide range of opportunities in the health and social
care sectors. This includes:

• Progress onto a relevant Level 3 qualification to advance your skills
  


• Enter a Level 3 relevant apprenticeship


• Start your career in a wide range of health and social care roles
  

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities are supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find opportunities that are right for you. These will give you key experiences ready for your future.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.
